Therapeutic and Bandage Contact Lenses

Healing or preventing an ocular wound, especially any damage to the cornea, requires special measures. Therapeutic and bandage contact lenses can be an important part of the healing process when the optometrist and patient work together for the best results. This course will look at the dispensing of these healing lenses, some common ocular conditions that can be helped with a therapeutic or bandage lens, fitting essentials and follow up, and the complications or contraindications for the use of bandage lenses.
