Course Description

This course will cover dispensing skills, techniques, and choices needed to make the final delivery of a pair of spectacles to your patient a great one, providing the excellence that your patient was expecting, from the moment they chose your dispensary. A great final inspection and successful delivery of your optical product always begins and ends with your patient. Assisting your patient to make wise choices need not be a long process. All of your patients will benefit if you involve them in making choices based upon your professional recommendations.

• Analyze prescription considerations
• Classify steps for standard alignment
• Identify and clarify to the patient potential needs
• Choose correct tool for standard alignment and anatomical adjustments
• Practice making the final delivery of the eyewear an exceptional experience for the patient
• Identify each step in the process of checking in eyeglasses to dispensing them to the patient

Course Assessment

There is a 40-question test at the end of the course. A successful passing score of 80% is required on all ABO-NCLE continuing education courses in order to earn the designated number of credits. You will know your grade instantly after completing the course.
