Course Introduction
A competent optician needs a basic understanding of the anatomy of the
human eye, how it works, and what conditions or vision abnormalities
might occur which may require his/her services. With this knowledge
he may interact more confidently with both his patients and the prescribing
practitioner as well. Since there are many terms associated with anatomy,
physiology, and vision abnormalities, this session includes a Glossary
of important terms you will need to know. Most of these terms are covered
in the workbook.
